Farm School

We offer 2 unique 12-week programs:

Animal Husbandry Program: Level 1 offers a hands-on introduction to farm life! Over the course of 12 weeks, students will explore the basics of farm animals and agricultural practices in a fun and interactive environment. Students will spend a lot of time in the barn, pasture, or other areas on the farm, interacting directly with animals. They will get to practice what they've learned in the lesson through activities like animal feeding, grooming, and observing animal behaviors. With games, labs, and engaging lessons, each class is designed to be exciting and educational. This is a beginner-level program that focuses on the basics of farm animals and farming. No prior experience is necessary—just a curiosity and love for animals!

Animal Husbandry Program: Level 2 Designed for returning students who completed Animal Care Level 1 program. Students will go deeper into the world of animal science and care and continue to discover the wonders of farm animals and agriculture through fun hands-on adventures. Program Includes: 30-minute advance lesson on farming and animal care, 15-minute fun game on the day’s topic, encouraging teamwork and learning through play, 30-minute comprehensive labs on farming. Grow your own food, pasteurize your own milk, make real goat cheese, collect apples and make apple cider, hatch chicken eggs. And30-minute outside project. Step outside to practice everyday farm chores, feed animals, milk goats, build animal shelters, bedding and fencing. 15-minute craft: Opportunity to be creative with a farm craft project. By the end of the program, students will have an advanced understanding of farm operations and animal care, along with practical, hands-on experience in a real farm setting.

Animal Husbandry_ Animal Care Tech_ Level 3 Program. Ready to dive deeper into the world of Animal Care? Level 3 Animal Care Tech program is right for you. Designed for returning students who completed Animal Care Level 1 or 2 Program. Step into shoes of real-life animal care tech specialist and learn all about farm animals’ health with tons of hands-on practice. Classes on animal science, farm animals ’general health checkups, daily care and disease prevention, tagging and identification, record keeping and observation, farm animal handling, supplement administration, emergency care and much more. By the end of the program, students will have an advanced understanding of farm animal care, along with practical, hands-on experience in a real farm setting.
