Tuition: $150 for 4 Weeks of once a week classes. There is no make-up classes offered for this program. Tuition is dew by the first day of class.

Farm School Animal Husbandry Level 1 invites young learners to roll up their sleeves and jump into the rhythms of farm life! Students will discover the wonders of farm animals and agriculture through fun hands-on adventures. Perfect way to test our Farm School Programs.

Program Structure:

Every session is crafted to spark curiosity and keep students buzzing with excitement, blending a variety of activities for a memorable learning experience:

  • 30-Minute Lesson: A focused lesson on fundamentals of farming and animal care, from basic care to livestock science.

  • 15-Minute Game: A quick and fun icebreaker activity to introduce the day's topic, encourage teamwork and learning through play.

  • 30-Minute Lab: Try your hand at churning butter, compare eggs fresh from the coop to those from the store, recreate a cow’s stomach with your own hands and so much more.

  • 30-Minute Outside Project: Step outside to meet friendly farm animals, lend a hand with their care, embark on a real egg hunt, wash and pamper friendly goats, craft tasty animal treats and feed the animals, climb into a tractor, and experience the daily joys of the barnyard.

  • 15-Minute Craft: Each week brings a new and creative craft project, letting students make something special that ties into the lesson’s theme.

Program Highlights:

  • Hands-On Learning: Students will spend a lot of time in the barn, pasture, or other areas on the farm, interacting directly with animals. They will get to practice what they've learned in the lesson through activities like animal feeding, grooming, and observing animal behaviors.

  • Interactive and Fun: With games, labs, and engaging lessons, each class is designed to be exciting and educational for young learners.

  • Designed for Beginners: This is a beginner-level program that focuses on the basics of farm animals and farming. No prior experience is necessary—just a curiosity and love for animals!

  • Parent Participation: Parents are required to stay with their children, this is not a drop-off program

By the end of the program, students will have a solid understanding of basic farm operations and animal care, along with practical, hands-on experience in a real farm setting.
